the octopus feeds the reef. part of what the tank earns goes back out to buy the ten biggest coins in it, then those coins are sent to the dead address for good. the bigger a coin, the bigger its share of the feed. fall out of the top ten and you stop getting fed. climb back in and it starts again. every feeding is two transactions on the explorer: a buy and a burn.
